Arvind Kejriwal is a Pathological LIAR – CBI raid was conducted against Principal Secretary, not Kejriwal

Raids by CBI was conducted against Principal Secretary, not Kejriwal as he has been barking away since morning.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has clarified that it has not raided the office of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Raids were carried out in the office of CM’s Principal Secretary Rajendar Kumar, top CBI sources have told India Today.

There were complaints made to CBI that certain private companies were benefiting in all the posts where Kumar was deployed over the last 5 years.

After preliminary investigation, CBI found prima facie evidence against Kumar. Earlier in the morning, reports said that the central investigation officials have raided Kejriwal’s office situated on the third floor of Delhi Secretariat.

The reported raid comes days after a top bureaucrat working for the Delhi government was arrested red-handed for taking bribe.

A senior IAS officer working for the Delhi government and his personal assistant were detained last Tuesday by the CBI for accepting a bribe of Rs 2.2 lakh from a manpower supplier.

Sanjay Pratap Singh, an IAS officer of the 1984 batch, was serving as the principal secretary in the department for welfare of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and minorities.

The CBI move came just a few days after the Delhi assembly passed the Janlokpal Bill, described by Kejriwal as the strongest anti-graft legislation in the country.

Not a sudden action by CBI

The anti-corruption branch (ACB) last Thursday had forwarded a complaint registered against former Delhi Home Secretary Rajender Kumar to CBI.

Senior bureaucrat Ashish Joshi had approached the investigating agency with his complaint on July 13 after ACB allegedly sat on it for a month. Joshi said he had submitted the complaint to ACB on June 12. Additional Commissioner S S Yadav was handling this complaint.

With Joshi moving CBI, ACB chief M K Meena is learnt to have forwarded the complaint and other documents to the probe agency on Thursday evening, sources said.

Joshi is the same guy who was expelled from Delhi Dialogue Commission by Ashish Khaitan. Joshi had then alleged that Khaitan and AAP workers misbehaved with him.

Why Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Speech Still Resonates Today

On 11 September 1893, Swami Vivekananda’s “Sisters and Brothers of America” reset the world’s conversation on faith and fellowship. More than a century later, his call for universal brotherhood, respect for diversity, and service over ritual feels newly urgent. In a polarised, hyper-connected age, Vivekananda offers a practical ethic: expand, don’t contract—build character, seek truth, and serve the weakest first.
