The police have registered a case of unnatural sex and extortion against a self-styled Muslim godman and two of his associates in Kota’s Kaithoon town, police said.
Police have registered the case of against Hakeem Baba (35) and his two associates, Liyakat Ali (40) and Murtaza Ali (34) at the Kaithoon police station following the orders of a local court after a victim approached the court with a complaint against the trio, said circle inspector Pushpendra Ahra.
The 35-year-old male victim, property dealer, in his complaint, alleged that he came under the influence of Hakeem Baba, a resident of Bheempura village in Kota’s Kanwas region, more than eight years back, Ahra said quoting the complaint.
The victim in his complaint said, Liaqat Ali and Murtaza called him to the native village of Hakeem Baba more than six months back and served him a spiked drink and later Hakeem Baba allegedly had unnatural sex with him.
The two associates of the Hakeem Baba recorded the sexual act on video and extorted ₹ 35 lakh from the victim, threatening to make the video public on social media platforms, the victim said in the complaint.
A case of unnatural sex, extortion, threat to life and cheating has been lodged against Hakeem Baba and his two associates, Ahra said.
“No arrests have been made in the case until now as police are investigating the case,” he said.
