MODI Government BANS BEEF EXPORT

In response to Member of Parliament, Shree Kirit Somaiya Ji’s query about the official stand of Modi Government on beef (meat of cow, oxen and calf) export and preservation of cattle in India, the Honourable Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman had come up with an official explanation that the Modi Sarkar is with the sentiments of people of India.

The letter from the Honourable Minister explains that — beef export is now prohibited under the current Foreign Trade Policy. And the Department of Commerce has withdrawn the Transport Assistance Subsidy (TAS) w.e.f 1st January 2014.
