Anna Hazare has decided to postpone his march from Wardha to Delhi, to protest against the land acquisition ordinance, which was scheduled to start from March 30.
Sources close to Hazare said the decision was taken after some farmers’ organisation had urged him to postpone the rally due to the ongoing agricultural crisis.
According to Hazare, the land acquisition ordinance is anti-farmer. Along with Hazare, many social activists were supposed to join the march and the Congress had also supported it.
Instead of the march, Hazare is scheduled to address public rallies in various parts of the state now.
The activist will be travelling to Assam over the weekend followed by Bangalore and other parts of the state, sources said.
