ISIS publishes female sex slave handbook

ISIS publishes female sex slave handbook, even justifying pedophilia

Our faith condones raping underage slaves: ISIS publishes shocking guidebook telling fighters how to buy, sell and abuse captured women.

  • Manual entitled ‘Questions And Answers On Taking Captives And Slaves’
  • Document says all ‘unbelieving’ women can be taken as captives and sold
  • Says it is ‘permissible’ to have ‘intercourse with female slave who hasn’t reached puberty’
  • Pamphlet was distributed by masked ISIS fighter outside mosque in Mosul
  • British terrorism experts have concluded the Arabic document is genuine

The Arabic manual, titled Questions And Answers On Taking Captives And Slaves, instructs IS fighters on how to buy and sell women and girls who have been captured in war as booty.

The document, published by the Research and Fatwa Department of IS, gives its fighters the green light to turn captured women into slaves and concubines, and even give them as gifts to one another.

It was circulated on the Twitter accounts of senior IS leaders and on Friday was distributed by masked IS fighters outside a large mosque in Iraq’s second city Mosul, which is controlled by the group.

The document has been obtained by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute and translated into English.

British terrorism experts, who have studied the document, have concluded it is genuine.

They have condemned the manual – which answers questions dealing with sex with slave girls, their status as the master’s property, and how to beat them – as ‘disgusting’, saying it harks ‘back to the Dark Ages’.

Can women be forced into sexual slavery? Have the Islamic State militants been doing the same thing? Grim as it may sound, it is true.

The pamphlets handed out by IS militants in Mosul, Iraq, entitled, “Questions and Answers on Taking Captives and Slaves” answers in clear-cut question and answer format certain questions regarding female slavery, the CNN reported.

Here are some samples of questions that were asked and answers given. Translation for the text was done by Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI)

Q: “Can all unbelieving women be taken captive?”
A: “There is no dispute among the scholars that it is permissible to capture unbelieving women [i.e. any non-Muslim woman].”

Q: “Can one have intercourse with a female captive?”
A: “It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with the female captive. Allah the almighty said: ‘[Successful are the believers] who guard their chastity, except from their wives or [the captives and slaves] that their right hands possess, for then they are free from blame [Koran 23:5-6]’.”

This question and its answer lays the groundwork for the legality of female sex slaves and further explains what kind of sex can be had.

“If she is a virgin, he [her master] can have intercourse with her immediately,” reads the pamphlet.

“However, if she isn’t, her uterus must be purified [first]… ” The pamphlet, however, does not explain how to purify the uterus.

More questions and answers:

Q: “Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female slave who has not reached puberty?”
A: “It is permissible to have intercourse with the female slave who hasn’t reached puberty if she is fit for intercourse; however if she is not fit for intercourse, then it is enough to enjoy her without intercourse.”

In all, the 27 questions and answers take a systematic look at sexual slavery and answer a variety of questions. Questions regarding sleeping with two sisters and buying and selling of slaves are also answered in the pamphlet.

IS fighters have taken thousands of women and children as captives, especially around 2,500 women from the minority Yazidi sect in Iraq. A UN report last month said these women were then taken as far as Raqqa in Syria and sold to IS fighters, or given as gifts to their leaders. Some of them, it claims, were then used for sex.
