1,500 detonators found in a house in Bihar

About 1,500 detonators were recovered on Saturday from a house in Takia locality of Bihar’s Rohtas district and one person has been arrested, a senior police official said.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided a house in Takia locality under Model police station and recovered 1500 detonators, Superintendent of Police Shivdeep Lande said.

One person has been arrested in this connection, he said, adding that the owner of the house and his son managed to escape on getting information about the raid.

Police was investigating their link with Maoists, Lande added.
