Wake up India, before it is too late

WHY are we so insecure?

Wake up India, before it is too late

There is a question which has baffled me for 40 years, although I am myself a white man and a born Christian: why do Indians have such an attraction towards the White Skin ? Does India, one of the most ancient civilization of this planet, need a White woman to govern Her ? I am sure that Sonia Gandhi, India’s behind the scenes Supremo, has great qualities, but are Indians so dumb, stupid, backwards, that they cannot find amongst themselves someone intelligent enough, non corrupt enough to lead them ? We witnessed the same phenomenon with Mother Teresa. She may have been a saint, but nobody has harmed so much India’s image in the 20th century: when you say India in the West, their eyes light-up and they answer : “Mother Teresa / Calcutta / Poor people / dumb people / starving people / who do no know how to care after their own underprivileged / Who need a White woman to show them how to pick-up dying in the street / to look after orphans” ! Is this the image that Indians want today ? An image that is harming them, which is stopping western businessmen from investing in India ? Yet Mother Teresa is worshipped here, from Calcutta to Chennai, from Delhi to Bangalore and when she will be made a saint by the Vatican, perpetuating this colonial, superior-minded, Christian symbol of White superiority over the Brown/Black man, the whole Indian media will rejoice in their own mental slavery and the Indian Government will probably declare a national holiday !

Why don’t Indians understand that Brown is beautiful ? White people spend hours in the beach and put a hundred creams to get tanned . And in winter they even artificially lie under infrared lamps in beauty parlors to get Brown ! Why this obsession of the Indian woman to have a white skin ? Why do most actors and actresses in adds on TV have digitally whitened faces ? Why this craze about “fair” looking brides ? Why do fake 69 Rs whitening creams, for women and even men, sell so well? If you find the answer to that, you will understand why the fatal attraction towards Sonia Gandhi and Mother Teresa.Obviously, colonization has frozen the Indian mind in certain patterns and the British made sure, through Macaulay’s policies, of leaving behind them an enduring complex of inferiority amongst Indians, by constantly harping upon the flaws of Indian culture and inflating them. This is why today Indian intellectuals repeat like parrots what their masters had said before them: “Hindus are fundamentalists / Brahmins are exploiters / Govalkar was a Nazi / Indians are corrupt and no good”… But that does not explain everything: most of colonized countries have aped their masters after having hated them. No, in my mind the greatest factor for India’s love of the White is the absurd theory of the Aryan invasion.
According to this theory, which was actually devised in the 18th and 19th century by British linguists and archaeologists, the first inhabitants of India were good-natured, peaceful, dark-skinned shepherds, called the Dravidians, who had founded what is called the Harappan – or Valley of the Indus civilisation. They were supposedly remarkable builders, witness the city of Mohenjo-Daro in Pakistani Sind, but had no culture to speak-off, no literature, no proper script even. Then, around 1500 B.C., India is said to have been invaded by tribes called the Aryans : white-skinned, nomadic people, who originated somewhere in Western Russia and imposed upon the Dravidians the hateful caste system. To the Aryans, are attributed Sanskrit, the Vedic – or Hindu religion, India’s greatest spiritual texts, the Vedas, as well as a host of subsequent writings, the Upanishads, the Mahabharata, the Ramanaya, etc…
This was indeed a masterly stroke on the part of the British : thanks to the Aryan theory, they showed on the one hand that Indian civilisation was not that ancient and that it was posterior to the cultures which influenced the western world – Mesopotamia, Sumeria, or Babylon – and that whatever good things India had developed – Sanskrit, literature, or even its architecture, had been influenced by the West. Thus, Sanskrit, instead of being the mother of all Indo-European languages, became just a branch of their huge family; thus, the religion of Zarathustra is said to have influenced Hinduism, and not vice versa. And on the other hand, it divided India and pitted against each other the low caste dark-skinned Dravidians and the high caste light-skinned Aryans, a rift which is till enduring. Yet, most recent archeological and linguistic discoveries point out that there never was an Aryan invasion and many historians, including the malevolent Romila Thapar, are distancing themselves from it. Yet, most Indians still believe in this absurd theory.Wake up o Indians: you are as great, if not greater than the White Man. You can do as well, if not better than the White Man. Not only your forefathers devised some of the basic principles of mathematics, astrology, or surgical medicine, not only today your people are amongst the most brilliant people in the world – half of Silicon valley is of Indian origin, 60% of UK’s doctors are Indians – but you still hold within yourselves a unique spiritual knowledge, which once roamed the world, but which has now disappeared, replaced by the intolerant creed of the two major monotheistic religions which say : “if you don’t believe in my true God, I will either kill you or convert you”. Wake-up India, Brown is beautiful, smart and it is the future.

I am malaysian indian and a nurse.I have seen patients and parents of sick children refusing to share rooms with indians if they are very dark skinned.Once there was even a parent who asked me if his baby will become dark like me if his infant is put under the photolight.(to treat neo-natal jaundice).

Very truly said , my friend .
Due to lack of knowledge of our own culture , people are trying to follow whatever is popular and give them priority over others .
India , being a breeding ground of diverse races , provides every individual to learn intellectually from this assimilation ground .
Aryan theory is baseless , as we refer to different architectural remains of bygone days , and their relationship with the different cultures prevalent in india , their philosophy and way of living .

Security is another major issue , as many different communities feel themselves insecure in their own country , and try to find better means to help themselves .

If and only if , people just ignore their races such as aryan , dravidian , mongoloids , austro-asiatics , etc ., as consider themselves as indians and of same blood , only then there is some possibility that , people will come to their true senses .

Moreover emphasis should be given to the country as a whole , not state-wise .

    Thank you !!

    Things like the current Mahabharat TV serial doesn’t help.Every time Draupadi has a mojor scene, the verse from the scripture is sung in the background that describes her as being dark;
    “Shyaama Padmaa Paalashakshi”
“She is dusky in complexion, with eyes like lotus petals”
yet she is played by an actress who seems to be whiter than white! A complete contradiction on the part of the producers/directors. Bollywood A-Listers make ads for fairness cream and tell their fans that they can only be successful if they become fair skinned.
In my opinion, India, in some ways, is still not independent, but is ruled by fair skinned foreign influences. MacCauley really does have a lot to answer for.

You could have write the same column with an Indian name at the end which would have been a waste cause we Indians do not our people much. we think if i am a dumb one another indian would also be the same. thats why we have to follow the ways of stalin lalin anddware shhirts of che guara…. we don’t see an Indian followings footsteps of Netaji Subhash and many more like him..we think we are so strong that America dont messes with us … but in reality they do.. they do all their ugly stuff in Indian subcontinent… we dont see peoeople wanting all the Indian subcontinent getting together as India as it was before firangys and mugals…you used a foreign name to make those Indians read this colum not one like me and many more who would give itt same respect if there was a inndian writer… brother you are also the same…

The article is written by Francois Gautier, a French writer and journalist as mentioned at the end. If you have any grief about the article, please feel free to take it up with him.

Bharath may be diverse but it is only culturally and linguistically (the the most part). Genetics (in the case for Bharath) is never to be used to denote diversity. There are no multiple races in the country. There are only linguistic and cultural groups. It is a GENETIC FACT that more than 90% of Indians are the same (these people being the mainstream who gave fruition to the Indo-European speaking peoples). The Munda speaking peoples (Burmese-Tibetan or Austro-Asiatics) are relatively low in number and especially in proportion and live along the Eastern periphery (the Far Eastern parts of Bharath). The mainstream (90+% of the population which founded the Indo-European peoples) have varying genetic traits that are part of the same genetic macro group itself. The mainstream (90+%) is factually the same. The people in Bharath are ONLY CULTURALLY and LINGUISTICALLY diverse (virtually nothing more). People are not one colour (the same case can also be found over much of Southern Europe and also some parts of Eastern Europe). Indians are not only brown (which is a tag which foreigners have made and anyone who believes in this is essentially very intellectually and politically enslaved). Indians range from Brown to light fair. Many eye colours and hair colours also developed in Bharath and Afghanistan and then spread. The 111th slc24a5 depigmentation gene originated from Bharath (this is compatible only with the Indo-Europeans primarily along with a some of the Semitic peoples of the Middle-East who have inherited this whereas the Far Eastern variant of this depigmentation gene is different).

This is separate from what Francois Gautier has written and is just being said as an inherent truth.

To say that Indians are only dark or brown is like saying all Scandinavians are blonde haired and blue eyed. Indians are not just brown. They range from Brown to light fair (many of the actors and actresses are naturally fair whereas some artificially put it on which is wrong as BOTH the dusky brown and the fair tones can be shown which would be best and not just only brown or only artificially fair but both naturally brown and light fair, however, it is not just only brown tones for many who are naturally fair needless to say).
